A. If you are a network administrator or an enthusiast working on Ubuntu and would like to manipulate the network MAC address you can use GUI utility available called MACchanger. Using this tool you can easily spoof MAC address with another device address or can set a random one.
Install MACchanger via command line
sudo apt-get install macchanger macchanger-gtk
Open MACchanger GUI via command line
macchanger-gtk
